Architectural Color Design - the art and science of color in the built environment

Far from what people call "decorating," architectural color design encompasses many nuances of art and science. What do I mean? Considering who is using a space and their lifestyle and needs; the neighborhood; the size and style of the home; surrounding landscape and hardscapes...that's just the beginning. Some people are interested in "trends" but for me, that is not the priority at all.  I see 'trends' as a way to know or view the various product colors that will be coming up for sale in the next few years. Color forecasting is a different ball of wax all together. Trends are passing. I find it interesting but, for my work and approach to color as a way to create the most effective, healthy environments, "trends" are not essential.

For now, I just want to share some examples of what a large brick home in the woods will look like as if painted with three different color palettes.  With my unique design visualization service (for exterior and also interiors) I enjoy sharing these views of clients' homes with them.
