The project was a mural on 4 walls of a kitchen. This picture is the overall project, with the exception of the wall at the left of the main section--because its' around the corner, it was not in the camera view. The client for this commission requested a mural of a long-desired cabinet filled with "blue and white china." All painted surfaces are flat, but painted to resemble actual shelving with depth to include the china (all invented with imagination for this project, not copied from existing items), imaginary books in bookshelf, and plates on a 'plate rail' above the doors. All the subjects of items were created in collaboration with the client -- book titles, and what they asked to see on the plates. I love working like this for commission projects.

A commission of this type can also be done in my studio in sections, and as individual paintings.
