What's On Your Mind?

One of two mixed-material paintings on heavy paper. Graphite, Acrylic. I did them separately, it was not planned at all that they should connect or even relate to each other. But to me, they feel as if they do relate--for feeling as well as shapes.

As usual, neither painting was planned for concept. A favorite method: put the pencil or other implement to the paper, let it take its own path and develop from there.
