Front View.  "Swimming Uphill" needs to be seen from various views, which is why I've included more than one image for this piece. On paper, a collage. This is float mounted on a wood background. Covered with plexiglas, which is attached to the wood edges by tiny brass screws.  Additional images include details, and views from the left and right sides so you can see what the artwork paper looks like, under its plexiglass cover, as viewed from different angles.

Mixed Media: work is paper-on-paper, collage approach. Mounted inside (the back side actually) of a painted solid birch-wood 'cradle.' Brass screws secure the sturdy plexiglass 'cover' to the top surface 3/4" wide cradle "edges" of the cradle "box "that contains the work on paper. It is more of a complete mixed-media art piece rather than a flat paper piece that is framed with glass over it.

NOTE: paper art is "floated" on its background. Plexiglass 'cover' made it hard to photograph without reflections. Wired on back, ready to hang. Photos show a variety of views from angles as well as front straight-on view.
