Metal Prints represent a new art medium. By infusing dyes deep into the specially coated metal, the prints take on a magical luminescence. You've never seen a more brilliant and vibrant print! They are scratch-resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean, making them ideal for kitchens, bathrooms or any high traffic area. Images printed with our process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Tier 1, 2, 3: Framed aluminum and wood

• Tier 1 frames: Float Frame, Full-Frame IntegralColor Museum Mount, and Shadow Frame Mount (available as black, silver, or gold)
• Tier 2 frames: Bevel (black aluminum) or Wood (Tahiti, Yosemite, Aspen)
• Tier 3 frames: Grand Shadow (black aluminum) 
• All frames are ready to hang, with protective rubber bumpers on the back corners. Choose your favorite style for your order.

 

The Shadow Collection in Tier 1, 2, and 3

• Tier 1 Shadow, which is the most economical of our Shadow Collection, has an outside border of about 1/2" before dropping down into the recessed island where the print is attached.  
• Tier 2 Bevel Frame is an exceptionally attractive frame that has a 2" outside border of beveled brushed anodized aluminum.  Like the other Shadow Frames, the Bevel Frame has a floating island of aluminum and comes with a wire for hanging.
• Tier 3 Grand Shadow, black aluminum.The most dramatic and largest of all the frames is the Grand Shadow, with a very rich looking brushed anodized finish. A 2.7" brushed aluminum outside border then drops down to a recessed island that supports your print. It is simply an awesome frame! 

About our 3 types of Tier 2 Wood frames

The Aspen, The Yosemite and The Tahiti Frame.  Unlike other frame shops, we do it differently here. Rather than cramming your metal print into the rabbet (the inside edge) of the frame, we instead have designed an inside floating channel to support your print. This offsets your print from the frame by about 3/4," and the effect is stunning!

a. Unmounted metal print

One of 2 more economical ways to get a great metal print!  You can add on the optional Bamboo Desk Stand or Metal Easel.

Corners can be ordered as sharp square, or slightly rounded, which still maintains a crisp appearance. (see below Hangar pictures for corner examples)

b. Hanger Mount

The Hanger is the most conventional way to hang any metal print under 30" x 45." For prints over that size, we recommend a frame to add rigidity and for ease of hanging. The Hanger provides a very economical yet effective way to hang your metal print right out of the box. The 5"x5" aluminum Hanger floats your print 1/2" off the wall. For prints larger than 16" x 20," the Hanger Mount is reinforced with a 3/4" thick, black  rigid backer (illustrated below). Edges are black. Corners can be ordered as sharp square, or slightly rounded, which still maintains a crisp appearance.

 

Alternate options are the gallery mount, having similar pricing and has the option of using a wire or securely mounting it to the wall with a cleat system. A uniquely elegant solution for hanging metal prints when you want a more substantial appearance with no bulk at all. I worked with our production partner to design this mount especially for Integralcolor/Barbara Jacobs Fine Art! The square-corner metal print is backed with a simply elegant, edge-to-edge black background and is wired and ready to hang, right out of the box. Includes protective rubber 'bumpers' on all 4 corners of back side.

This frame provides substantial edge protection, while simultaneously giving your image an elegant and upscaled look.  A pre-installed wire enables you to hang your print right out of the box. Tier 1: Shadow Frame Mount 

The Shadow Frame has an extraordinary look that compliments metal prints perfectly. The frame is made from a very elegant brushed anodized aluminum, and is available in black, silver, or gold. The shadow frame has a ¾'' channel that separates the print from the border of the frame. This gives your print the appearance that it is 'floating' within the frame. The frame adds 2½'' to each dimension of the final piece. So for example if you ordered a 16'' x 24'' print, the final piece would be 18½'' x 26½".

 

A pre-installed wire enables you to hang your print right out of the box. Ask about the easy-to-use security hardware that can be added at no extra charge. Rubber bumpers are applied to each of the back corners.

Tier 2: Black Bevel Aluminum

The brushed black anodized finish makes the Bevel Frame a perfect choice for displaying high-end metal prints. The Bevel is our favorite down at the shop. It is impressive, rich looking and substantial enough to easily hold the largest print we offer. All frames come with a pre-installed wire for hanging right out of the box.
Frame Channel Width : The Bevel Frame has a ½'' channel that separates the print from the border of the frame, this option is standard but smaller channel widths are available in ¼" and ?".

Tier 2: Tahiti

The Tahiti Wood Frame has an elegant, clean look. The unique inner channel floats the metal print within the frame. Blending the modern look of a metal print with the warmth of wood, creates a beautiful way to display your images. The frame comes with a pre-attached hanging wire. Security Mounts can be used with this frame to anchor your artwork to the wall using a lock and key.
This frame adds 6½" to each dimension, so if you were to order a 30"x45" your outside dimensions would be 36½" x 51½"

Tier 2: Yosemite

The Yosemite Frame is a perfect combination of rustic and modern. An interior channel floats your print away from the frame giving your image a very unique look. The Yosemite Frame comes ready to hang with a pre-attached wire. Security Mounts can be used with this frame to anchor your artwork to the wall using a lock and key.
This frame adds 7" to each dimension, so if your print is 30"x45" the outside dimensions will be 37"x52"
